We are now into November and December 1st will be here before we know it. I’ve put together some fun advent calendar options that will make the Christmas countdown fun for the your family. We love our quilted Pottery Barn calendar we do each year and we’ve done the Chocolate and Lego calendars in the past and love those, too! I think we will be doing a lego calendar as well this year. There are lots of fun options out there, but here are some of my favorites.
Let your kids count down to Christmas Lego style! 24 different Christmas legos to build each day.
I grew up having a chocolate advent calendar. The problem is the chocolate is usually cheap and not very tasty. I love that this calendar uses Cadbury Chocolate.
For the minion fans in your household. A fun, inexpensive way to countdown to Christmas.
Interactive, play doh advent.
We have a Santa Advent Calendar that we love from Pottery Barn. I love that it has little pockets to put little treats inside of a card with a note with something specials we will do that day. My kids look forward to seeing what fun holiday activity we will do that day. Ideas of things we do: Get out the Christmas books and read the first one, make hot chocolate and watch Elf, go look at Christmas lights, make Christmas cookies, write a letter to Santa, deliver neighbor Christmas gifts, mail Christmas cards, go Christmas shopping, act of service, go caroling, etc.
